The vision of R2G is to start a multiplying Reformed church planting movement. That means that while we currently focus on the work in Heidelberg, we see that work as a kind of hub or training center for future church planters for other cities as well.

Heidelberg was once known across Europe for its solid Reformed seminary, the Sapienzkolleg, which turned out hundreds of Reformed pastors in the 16th century. Currently, Germany has no Reformed seminary that we could whole-heartedly recommend. Therefore, an “indigenous” training institution is paramount. We are currently planning to get involved in a small, confessional seminary here in Germany where future pastors can be trained.
